The Dirty Projectors are an experimental music group lead by singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist David Longstreth. Based in Brooklyn, New York City (and ostensibly part of the city's indie-rock scene), the group has produced a distinctive sound of electronic experimentation, melded with traditional instruments and discordant vocals.
