In October of 1999, a group of friends formed Fairview. Based in Orange County, CA, Fairview has made a name for themselves locally as well as nationally. Independently they: recorded and released their EP, "We'll Dodge It On The Way Back", design their own merchandise, and design and maintain their web site. Scraping together what little cash they had, Fairview bought a tour van and trailer to enable national touring. Without the aid of a record company, Fairview has managed to tour with popular acts on labels such as: Sony/Active, Maverick, Vagrant and Drive-Thru Records. Fairview has also had the opportunity to share the stage with such outstanding groups as Save Ferris, Reel Big Fish, Hoobastank, Midtown, Dashboard Confessional, The Ataris, The Juliana Theory, Mars Volta, The Anniversary, No Motiv, and Phantom Planet among tons of other great bands. Currently, Fairview is recording new demos. They are also getting ready to head back out on the road again.
