Good The Bad and the Queen
Indie Rock / Alternative
The Good, the Bad and the Queen is an album produced by an unnamed English rock band who formed in 2006. It has gained more fame, however, as Blur frontman Damon Albarn's new project. The band consists of Albarn, Clash bassist Paul Simonon, former Verve guitarist Simon Tong and Afrobeat pioneer and Africa 70 drummer Tony Allen. Although The Good, The Bad, and the Queen was initially reported as a solo album by Albarn with Danger Mouse producing, NME revealed in late July 2006 that the solo project was switched to a new group formed by Albarn.
They are slated to make an appearance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, in April 2007.
