Japan Seoul formed in late 2006 in New York City. Made up of former members of the late great NY rock trio THE VITAMEN (Dave Rozner, Jesse Blockton, and Matt Hyams) and former MUSIC FOR GIRLS guitarist and singer/songwriter Jason Paul, along with sax for hire DaVe Lipp, who's recorded and played with THE VITAMEN, and keyboard whiz Tris McCall, who's in several notable NY rock bands (Overlord and KapOw!), together create quirky rock music with great groove.
