Lowcloudcover is a brooding 3 piece pasting together each members background into a dark soundscape capitalizing on the musical side of tension and anxiety. Our extensive song catalog ranges from quiet and sparse to loud and driving. The band has been active for over one year in San Diego and enjoys regular gigs all over southern California.
lowcloudcover has opened for Low, American Analog Set, Calla, Kinski, 31 Knots, Denali, Starflyer59, Windsor for the Derby, The Prom and Swords Project. In March 2003 the band released its 5 song E.P. “One Little Shot in the Eye” to good reviews and eager ears. lowcloudcover has received over 12,000 plays on www.mp3.com with over 9,000 of those being in the last year.
