Sparklehorse Indie Rock / Experimental Sparklehorse is basically Mark Linkous and friends. Sparklehorse perform perfectly eccentric, southern songs, ranging from whispery, acoustic, at very bottom of lo-fi tracks, to driven, guitar-soaked, electric rock numbers. Mark has collaborated with artisits P.J. Harvey, Tom Waits and Nina Persson (Cardigan's) and has released a gem of an album entitled "It's a Wonderful Life." Videos of this Sparklehorse album have been made from a variety of director's including The Brother Quay and may be viewed on Sundance Channel's Sonic Cinema.
