If this is your first time hearing about these upstate New York rockers I strongly urge you to give them a spin. Their sophomore LP "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3," on Equal Vision records was just released, and if were already a fan of C&C you'll probably have high hopes for it as I did. Unfortunately I found them taking steps not in my direction, maybe it's just that much more pop or emo than is to my liking right now. When listening to it they reminded me too much of other bands and not enough of Coheed and Cambria. Their sound that was all over their debut "The Second Stage of the Turbine Blade".
"In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3," is not without it's shiny moments, I definitely enjoyed the title track along with "The Crowing" which have that C&C edge that I love. Coheed puts on a great live show, I am excited to see them on Halloween.
