5 Lone Pigeon Concubine Rice Domino | 2002 | Album Biography Comments (0) Read Full Page Digg Review Add del.icio.us   Gordon Anderson founder of the amazing Beta Band has released his solo album entitled 'Concubine Rice' with the help of Kenny Anderson, David Love. The album starts off with a Beatlesque title track 'Concubine Rice' Next up 'King Creosote's Wineglass Symphony' which starts off with an actual wine glass symphony, into a a beautiful dream version of a Beta Band classic accompanied by guitar. Track five starts of with a story about flying cows and goes into the danceable'Beatmix Chocbar Wrap' as Gordon attempts some English rap. My favorite track off this 13 song LP was 'Waterfall' with Gordon dreamy vocals and beautifully guitar lullaby. Another great track is the serenade 'Melon Beard'.
