The first song is an instrumental called "Convergence".Wind chimes start the song-followed by guitar picking.Drums and violin kick the instrumental into a mellow overdive.A pretty beginning."If Wishes Were Inches" is a building pop-rock tune.The old-school-as in seventies-mellotron solo in the middle reminded me of Keith Emerson on "LuckyMan".The best song of the bunch is the last one entitled "Everything Is Forgetfulness (Dedalus)".A fine melody with a memorable chorus. Don't buy "Physics Under Quiet Lights" if you like your music hard and rocking. The closest comparisons to this music might be The Cranberries or Sixpence None The Richer.
