The opening track 'Streams' kicks off with a beautiful piano melody joined by break beats which reminiscent of Joy Division and Radiohead's 'Amnesiac.' haunting and hypnotic this instrumental track is musically refreshing fusing a more danceable Vince Guaraldi to a future sound. The last track entitled 'Duck Style' is an ode to those web-feet wanders which sound like a space age Jitterbug. I had a glimpse listen to Pilote's album 'Doitnowman' and am eagerly awaiting to hear more. A second Manana EP is due out soon! Both are limited edition runs of 1000 copies.
