The music is an otherworldly version of dub reggae created from blips and bleeps. Very enjoyable stuff if you're into something a little different from the norm. "45/45" is a four song ep that came out in advance of Stefans first cd due out in mid July 2003. The four songs are instrumentals that will add vocals when the full length cd is released. The vocals will be provided by Ohio based rapper Fat John. The first song "Arena" is a spare dub track with a great feel. Something sounds like a melodica on the track- but I'm sure it's some cut up sound. Excellent stuff. The last track "Back home" features an upright bass by August Engkilde. This another strong track with a great feel. I really enjoyed "45/45". There is not a lot of difference between the tracks- but his sound is so different- that really didn't matter to me. I hope the vocals on the full length add to an already impressive ep. If you like dub reggae that sounds like it created by aliens- you'll love "45/45" by Pole. J.
