Formed in 1998 with Emma Anderson former Lush Guitarist and Lisa O'Neil (Who has contributed to Kid Loco, Locust, Mad Professor) after a chance meeting over coffee.
Sing-Sing's debut album 'The Joy of Sing-Sing' is filled with 12 tracks of Ethereal Pop, with diverse well crafted song writing, with many breaks and changes, taking cues from bands, such as Blondie, Garbage and Golpfrapp.
The Album starts off with the dreamy wonderland guitar work on 'Everything', mesmerizing the listener's into their crafty, space pop.
Second Track 'Teagan,' (which means beautiful little things in Cornish) show case some intricate musicianship, as distorted bass grooves collide with space pop textures, acoustic guitars, and break beats.
The track 'Me and My Friend' laden with seductive vocals textures, weave with grooving beats, sexy guitar leads, lush keyboards and samples.
The song 'Panda Eyes' takes us back to the eighties for a pop classic.
The dreamy, ethereal chill out 'Command' merges into their Pop single 'Feels Like Summer' which is included for viewing on the disc. The video directed by Kieran Evans.
