There's a line in the title track, repeated and remixed four agonizing times throughout T. Raumschmiere's CD EP Blitzkrieg Pop:
"Everything, you want to be
I'm not impressed
It's boring me.
Your mediocrity
Is standing out
Some like it hot, well I like it loud."
An overtly pompous, trite and frighteningly plain statement that comprises the dubious backbone of this steaming heap of gimmicks and synthesizer beats. Other than those aforementioned negative observations, T. Raumschmiere's greatest sins are being boring, predictable and among the most unoriginal outfits in recent memory, perhaps in the last decade.
Remember those KMFDM albums? Come on, you recall the ones with the austere two tone drawings of Bettie Page look-alike girls wielding knives and revolves that felt like fascist propaganda posters? This is a lot like those albums, filled with remixes; repetitive remixes of the same song, barely identifiable from one another by the end. Wait, actually, this isn't like those. KMFDM had a biting wit and a sense of humor. These guys don't. See above lyric.
The saving grace of this piece of work comes down to whether you purchase the physical CD or pay to download a digital copy. If you have the disc, then you can use it as a coaster when company comes, or perform microwave experiments; the latter and I have to say, honestly pal, you opened your computer up to harmful viruses during download. Be careful.
