Having seen Bad Religion a number of times over the last 15 years, this show presented yet again a band that exudes intelligent, impassioned, confrontational and witty Punk Rock. Playing three nights at the Los Angeles - House of Blues, revolution was in the air.
The evening started right in with "American Jesus" followed shortly by "Conquer the World" and didn't let up. They played a lot of their (I hate to say hits - so let's just call them bad-ass-tunes) and a couple of vintage ones like "No Control" and "Do What You Want." There were too many songs that stuck out to list.

Greg Graffin (singer for Bad Religion and recent PhD recipient in Evolutionary Biology/Paleontology from Cornell University {whowa...}) served up political and social jabs at the powers that be, through the evening in the lyrics and in-between songs. This proved refreshing in such a dormant social climate.
The band must have played a good 25 - 30 songs. Every time you thought the show was going to end, they gave even more. In true Punk Rock tradition they played, and played, and played - no fake encore, and it was over.
They kicked ass (and as my pop says) took names...
